London United 6-0 Fire

Sunday 6th April - MLF Round 3
HMV Park, Essex

London United ran riot over Nottingham Fire today with a resounding 6-0 win on Super Sunday.

The scorers were CraiCo, Kevin Warhurst, Neil Boyle, Ian Parker, Lionel Nunez and Rodrigo Santos with latter three strikes assisted by Edward Redwood.

The Fire's best opportunity came from Sébastien Lacroix who shoot straight at Michael da Silva, covering for the injured Simon Herding.

Simon KO rocks United

London United keeper and Flamboyant Five member Simon Herding has been ruled out for a month after a freak accident.

Apparently Simon broke his back trying to reach the remote on Saturday afternoon. According to Simon, he was watching 'MLF Soccer Saturday' on TOTV by the time he stretched himself to the remote and then - OW!

Not the news that the other F5ive boys and LUFC teammates - Neil Boyle, CraiCo, Edward Redwood and Kevin Warhurst - want to hear.

It is bad news for the Black and Red, who will be ruled out for some of London United's big games ahead, including the big London derby against FC London.

Mikki da Silva and Steven Knott are set to fight for the goalkeeper's jersey for the rest of month.
