After the Reading Football Club's relegation from the Premier League last week, the Ruckus showed why they might be the new talk of the town with attractive, attacking football.
And they were rewarded in the 66th minute when César Escobar threaded a pass for Stefan Shanahan, who made no mistake in firing home.

FCL reveal one-off kit

After London United revealed their CSA Champions League Final kit, it was time for their opponents FC London to follow suit with their kit manufactured by Adidas and sponsored by Bwin.
The golden CCL Champions logo appears on the right sleeve and the words "21.05.08 LONDON UNITED v FC LONDON" appears on the right breast of the shirt as the Superhoops look for their third CL title in a row.
White shorts make a return to this FCL kit following the successful run-out last year, alongside white socks. FCL boss García believes white is lucky.

London United reveal one-off Final kit

London United have revealed their CSA Champions League Final one-off kit manufactured by Adidas and sponsored by Kit Kat Chunky.
The CCL logo appears on the right sleeve and the words "21.05.08 LONDON UNITED v FC LONDON" appears on the right breast of the shirt.
The one-off kit is worn with the shorts from the away kit and black socks.
Krzystofski and Trujillo 'will be fit'
Karlo Krzystofski says he and FC London team-mate Juan Trujillo will be fit for the CSA Champions League Final against London United in Milan.
Both were injured in Saturday's 5-0 thumping victory at Cardiff Dragons, with Krzystofski hurting his knee and Trujillo dislocating his elbow.
But the Wales CSA striker told SCORE! Magazine there was "nothing serious" about his injury.
And of Trujillo, he said: "I've spoken to him. He will play in Milan. No-one wants to miss this gigantic match."Krzystofski confirmed that the knee he hurt in Cardiff (just seconds after he came on for Craig Wisniewski) was the same one that had been operated on last November, but said: "I put ice on it immediately. I will be at training this week."
He called the Milan showdown so important that it was regarded in the FC London locker-room as "the match of our careers".
FC London go to Milan looking for a hat-trick of Champions League triumphs.However, United will go to the San Siro looking to become CSA football's premier club, but Krzystofski said: "This Champions League match is different.
"It will play itself out over 90 or 120 minutes.
"We know that we can beat United, we proved it again in the league a fortnight ago."
The game itself will be a lot of heat with some of the players who were apart of the first two Champions League-winning FCL teams now on the other side (such as Kevin Warhurst, Neil Boyle, Simon Herding, Edward Redwood, etc).

Canon Cup to be scrapped
The Canon Cup has been discontinued by Major League Football, and will be replaced by a five-a-side indoor tournament with MLF sides in it.
The East Anglia Knights were the last team to win it after beating London United in late February.
MLF said this was mainly due to a hectic league schedule.
"With our hectic schedule, I'm afraid there is no place anymore for the Canon Cup," said an MLF spokesman.
The CSA International Premier League will now also be held in winter months again due to the tiring schedule.
The East Anglia Knights were the last team to win it after beating London United in late February.

GFC were dealt a blow when skipper John Jeffries was concussed after a collision with 'keeper Mike McGuire in the dying seconds.
A brawl then started after John Bengtsson allegedly spat at Eagles captain Craig Borchers.
Bengtsson, MacRae and Van den Bergh were shown yellow cards in for their parts in the scuffle - MacRae and Van den Bergh were seen kicking each other but amazingly the Welsh referee - Martyn Watson - did not send them off.

César Wurns-Herrera legally changes name to César Escobar
The Reading Ruckus and Switzerland CSA footballer is no longer César Wurns-Herrera.
He is now César Escobar.
The 25-year-old dynamite winger legally changed his name in court today - his third name since the start of his career.
He started his MLF career as César Wurns when he played for Newcastle Geordies in 2002. But he later became Wurns-Herrera after he married Spanish popstar singer Valeria Herrera in July 2006.
But César and Valeria divorced earlier this year, and instead of reverting back to Wurns, he adopted the surname of his great grandfather, who originally hails from Colombia.
His full name is now César Andrés Wurns Escobar, but he will continue to wear his first name on the back of his shirt as he has done it the past.
He can also be known as César Wurns Escobar, and people can now nickname him Esco.
You can even say: "ESCOBAR CAESAR HAS RETURNED!!!"

Bobby Bricke scored a delightful free-kick for the one-nil.
And then Quique Sánchez doubled the lead after a great through-ball from Darren Watkinson.
And believe it or not, this was the Monsters' third game in only six days.

London United picked up two MLF awards - boss Bobby Hutchinson winning Manager of the Month and striker Edward Redwood winning Player of the Month.
Redwood said: "I'm delighted for the myself, I've had a great start to the season and this means a lot to me."
Hutchinson added: "I'm happy with our start. 15 points from the first five games, brilliant."
Meanwhile, Redwood is set to return for his side's MLF match against Newcastle Geordies on Saturday.
The 22-year-old sat out of Tuesday's Champions League win over Harchester with a hip injury but Hutchinson is confident he will return to full fitness.
"We just cancelled him out (against Harchester). He was in a lot of pain," the United boss said.
"He will be a lot better in a few days and involved on Saturday somewhere along the line."Meanwhile, 'keeper Simon Herding says he has fully recovered, after playing the whole 90 minutes of both semi-final legs despite a sore back.
"I don't feel any soreness in my back anymore so I should be OK," he said.
