Defenders' own goals were enough to see the Bristol Pirates and Ajax London draw the game one-one.

Juan Pablo Gonzalez' headed own-goal put the Pirates in the lead, but in stoppage time a howler from Dougie Strickland - who tried to clear the ball but he scuffed it and it landed in the back of the net - cost Bristol two points more than what they actually got.

The Ajax goalscorers were Marek Pozanek, Juan Pablo Gonzalez and Peter Elkins, while Real got a goal back with Steve Tillman.

Peter Elkins cancelled out Stevie Berry's opener as Ajax London held out for a draw in Dublin with the Druids.

London United ran riot once again thrashing Ajax London 6-1 thus taking first place in the MLF table with 4-0-0 start.

Ajax old boy Edward Redwood scored a hat-trick while CraiCo, Cristiano Costa and Adam Stockwell grabbed the other three goals.

Ajax London however broke London United's clean sheet streak with a Juan Pablo Gonzalez fluke goal which came off the Spaniard's arse after a corner.

Juan Pablo had his back turned when the corner came after a hard push by John Macdonald. But somehow, as Juan Pablo fell to ground, the ball came off his backside and into the net for one of the great MLF comedy goals.

Ajax London and Manchester Magic drew 3-3 in one of the all-time Super Sunday classics.

Ajax went up 3-0 in only 20 minutes with respective goals from Peter Elkins, James Bruce and Juan Pablo Gonzalez.

But the Magic started an incredible comeback 10 minutes from time. Zvonimir Markovic started the comeback. Robbie Walton gave the Magic hope. And then in stoppage time, Kevin Simms, sporting purple hair dye, scored the equalizer and the Magic players - including the 'keeper Edward Wilson - mobbed him after the Magic completed one of the greatest comebacks in MLF history.

Peter Elkins' header won the game for Ajax London as they won 1-0 at Newcastle Geordies.

Elkins leaped high over Steven Tweedy as he stole in on the rookie Geordies centre-back.

Ajax London won 1-0 after a spectacular goal from Peter Elkins at Sheffield Strikers.

Elkins did a scissors kick after a sweet cross from Aaron Wijnkamp.

Kevin Henderson had the Strikers' best chance, but fired over the bar from 10 yards out.

Ajax London snap up Elkins

Ajax London have completed the signing of giant striker Peter Elkins from MLF Europe's Lyon Roar.

The 6'8" England CSA international, 25, has struggled in France after joining them from Merseyside Revolution in August 2007.

"Elky's exactly what we need up front now that we've lost Danny Doblado," said coach Martin de Welt. "He's big, strong, unbeatable in the air and he brings colour to our attack."
