Ian Parker is considered as one of the most exciting young midfield prospects in England. He rose his way up from the ranks of E-League side London City, and made his debut in March 2006 against Harchester United. In the first stage of 2006-07, he was used sparingly, so they loaned him to MLF Europe side Milan Madness in January 2007. Parker made two CSA Champions League appearances against his greatest nemesis, FC London, scoring against them in both legs of the semi-final, but it didn't prove to be enough as FCL won 5-4 on goal difference. Ian Parker was apart of the England CSA MegaCup winning squad, but did not actually get playing time. Parker then returned back to City after the summer, but not before he played in the MLF Europe vs. MLF World Challenge Wembley match on 22 July 2007, winning the MVP honours. The midfielder started the first game on the 2007-08 E-League season again Western Villa, but was sold to Middlesbrough Monsters just a few days later, after making a £7m bid for him, and City found it impossible to turn down. Prime Time, as he likes to be called because of his ability to play so well in evening matches, immediately became an fan favourite with the Monsters fans and his 'pinball' free-kick against East Anglia Knights was named the goal of the year. However, this dreamland was not last forever for the Monsters fans. After a stellar season, he was traded to his boyhood heroes London United at the end of the season. Known for his long bangs, he was a co-recipient of The New Goal's Fringe of the Year award shared with now-current United teammate Edward Redwood.
